Superb and unique Bristol 411 Series 2, a one-off model with an exceptional pedigree. Purchased new from the factory by George Bell, an eccentric Chicago millionaire with a passion for speed, this 411 was immediately taken to Filton for an extraordinary upgrade: a 7.2-liter Chrysler racing engine prepared by Keith Black developing 400 hp, a 200-liter aluminum fuel tank to cross Europe without refueling, lowered suspension, and rare magnesium Minilite wheels. A unique piece in the history of the brand, it remains to this day the only 411 equipped with such mechanics, completely rebuilt in 2018 with the help of Marc Weissenberg of American Cars Geneva. In the early 1990s, it entered the collection of Robert Brown, CEO of London Bus Export Co, who kept it for two decades before importing it to Switzerland at the end of 2014. Between 2015 and 2018, it underwent a comprehensive restoration of the chassis, engine, suspension, and paintwork at a cost of over CHF 100,000 at Aston Riviera and Garage des Roches in Lausanne. The result is striking: beneath its discreet, typically British lines, this 411 hides formidable competition mechanics, combined with opulent and refined comfort. A rare piece, perfectly restored, with a clear history and ready to seduce discerning enthusiasts and demanding collectors, veteran MOT !
