Superb and rare Intermeccanica Italia Spider, one of the very last examples produced in late 1970 (chassis no. 50360414) and one of the very few models delivered new in Europe. In 1988, it was imported to Italy by Elis Garuti, a renowned coachbuilder from Modena, for a complete restoration commissioned by a client living in Rubiera, not far from the legendary city of Modena. This meticulous restoration, carried out over three years, will see the car dressed in a sumptuous “giallo fly” color, the emblematic yellow of Ferraris, a particularly judicious choice for this model designed by Franco Scaglione, stylist of many Ferraris of the 60s. Subsequently, the car joined the Italian roads for a few country weekends under the drive of an Italian television celebrity, before being integrated into the private collection of Roberto Brighenti in Vignola, where it will be kept from 2008 to 2015. Imported into Switzerland that same year, it then benefits from a partial restoration at Aston Riviera in Lausanne, for a sum of 44,000 CHF, including obtaining the FIVA passport and veteran homologation in 2018. Between 2019 and 2025, particular care is taken in the maintenance and improvement of the cooling system (new radiator, fan) by the Garage des Roches in Mont-sur-Lausanne, for a total of CHF 25,000. All detailed invoices accompany the vehicle. This example is presented today in exceptional condition, ready to hit the road again. An irresistibly charming Italian convertible with elegant lines, rich in a unique history and rigorous maintenance, expertly inspected by a veteran, and ready to seduce the most demanding enthusiasts.
